Snowbotics Workshop Introduces Youth to Engineering Technology - Dec. 8

It may be cold outside but the action will be plenty warm at Triton College during a workshop that will introduce young students to the engineering and technology fields.

The ‘Snowbotics Workshop’ is Saturday, Dec. 8, 1-4 p.m. (sign in is at 12:30 p.m.), in Room T-132A of Triton College’s T Building, located on the east side of campus, 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove.

This innovative, hands-on workshop allows children of all ages to combine their creativity and technical skills. During the workshop, students will create their own soldering electronics project in Triton’s fabrication laboratory with guidance from Triton instructors and students as well as students from Proviso Mathematics and Science Academy’s Monty Pythons robotics team.

The cost to attend the workshop is $30 per child (cash or check only, please). For more information or to sign up, contact Andrea Blaylock at (708) 714-0029 or andreablaylock@triton.edu.
