Calling all Volunteers: Seniors Training Academy Recruits (STARS) Program – March 11 & 14

The Cook County Sheriff’s Police Training Academy and Triton College’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) are looking for older adults who want to volunteer for a new instructional program that helps police recruits refine their interviewing and report writing skills.

Training for the Seniors Training Academy Recruits (STARS) program is Monday, March 11, at 11 a.m. in Room R-211, located in the Robert Collins Center (R Building) on Triton’s east campus, 2000 5^th Ave., River Grove.  The Senior Recruit Interview Day will take place on Thursday, March 14, from noon to 4 p.m. in Room R-221.

Refreshments will be served on Thursday, March 14, the day of the actual interviewing. Each participant will receive a certificate of appreciation upon completion of the Senior Recruit Interview Day.
