Hosted by Sustainability Center since 2016 when they first received the “Tree Campus USA” Award from the Arbor Day Foundation.
The tree planting has been a part of a larger effort to protect and care for trees on campus.
“This event is a great opportunity for the Triton community to celebrate all the wonderful things trees provide for us, year-round,” said Benjamin Kadlec, Triton’s sustainability coordinator.
“Hosted as an Arbor Day celebration, this is a way to act, conserve and grow our tree population on campus.”
