Public Safety Dispatcher Program
The program is designed to prepare students to enter the profession of a public safety dispatcher. An emphasis is placed on developing academic, technical and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention and advancement. A critical need currently exists for professional public safety dispatchers. The skills obtained through the certification program will prepare students to meet the high standard of performance required in the industry, better preparing them for employment and serving he members of the community.
Program Mission Statement:
We commit to providing quality public safety dispatcher education and training for the community. Our program will strive for excellence, professionalism, and dedication in all endeavors. As dedicated staff we will continually find ways to enhance the provision of educational services to the community that we serve. Our program will maintain alignment with the Triton College Mission Statement and Core Values.
